Our Story
Vaccarella Farms has been rooted in Hammonton, NJ—the Blueberry Capital of the World since 1957, when Joseph Vaccarella purchased the original 20 acres for his son Anthony to learn how to run. What started as a small family farm has grown to nearly 200 acres in 2025, spanning three generations of hard work and dedication.
At just 15 years old, Anthony ran the farm alongside his father Joseph, instilling a strong work ethic that carried through the generations. His son Anthony Jr. grew up working side by side with him, and his younger brother Joe later joined in, learning from both his father and brother. Together, Anthony and Joe have expanded the farm, modernized operations, and opened facilities for packing and cold storage, serving not only their own harvest but other growers as well.
The Vaccarella family has always taken pride in their growth, tradition, and community. Today, Vaccarella Farms continues to thrive thanks to the dedication of family members across generations all united by a love for farming and a passion for blueberries.
